SHOO news!

The Newark-Granville Symphony is putting on a concert of film with live music on March 14th in Ohio, a night at the movies, and the music director has requested SHOO for the performance. It will be played with live instruments accompanying the projected film, courtesy of composer forest christenson.

BRIGHT: PRODUCTION STILLS

Our three-month production period is officially over, and we've officially begun post-production (editing, sound design/mixing, etc.) on our second-year films. These are a couple of stills I've extracted from my footage.

Abby's pet whale, Atari, built by producer Eric Elofson on location in Pulau Ubin. Pulau Ubin is the last "kampung" (village) in Singapore. A stroll through Ubin takes you back to Singapore in the 1960s before the abundance of malls and high-rise condos.

Abby spots Singapore's "Giant Durian" from across the river. Widely known and revered in Southeast Asia as the "King of Fruits," durian is distinctive for its large size, unique odor and formidable thorn-covered husk.

Abby journeys through Singapore in search of a missing Atari.

One step closer to finding Atari, Abby stares at "The Giant Durian" in disbelief.

Abby overhears her father's conversation, uncovering his real intentions for their trip to Singapore.

Having discarded her glasses, Abby wanders aimlessly through Singapore.

Abby awaits Dr. Ming's diagnosis.

BRIGHT, directed by Alexa Caravia, was shot on location in Singapore with an ARRI-SR II Super-16mm camera package and KODAK Vision 2 and Vision 3 film.

ON LOCATION IN INDIA

These are a couple of stills we snapped on the set of Shivani's second-year film. INTERSECTION will bring life to wholesome characters that live and roam the streets of New Delhi, seen through the soundscape of a deaf protagonist.
